“Just Steak It” was a 20m2 hospitality take away design and construct Shopfitting project in Brisbane’s CBD at Post office square. The client and landlord issued us with a brief. G & K Projects Pty Ltd then undertook sketch designs and comprehensive budget covering the brief.
The cost of the project came in at just under $100,000.00 for the total project including the catering equipment which was supplied by ERS catering equipment.
The design took 10 days to complete and was sent to the centre RDM for approval. After a couple of changes to the finished schedule we received the approval ready for the construction of the project.
G & K Projects Pty Ltd sent a program to the client and landlord for approval which was based on the scope of works and design drawings. The three week program was agreed with the client and centre management. We then undertook all site set-outs and related works as well as coordinating the CAT1 works for the Landlord at Post Office Square.
G & K Projects Pty Ltd works started once again with the extraction and mechanical installations followed closely by the ceiling grid works and rough in’s for electrical and plumbing. During the fit-out period both the client and landlord visited the site to see the progress. Once again our Site Manager, Derek Chaplin, and contractors stuck to agreed program and as a result G & K Projects PTY Ltd handed over the fit-out prior to the agreed completion date.
Together G & K Projects Pty Ltd, the client as well as the landlord compiled a defects list which our company completed within a day or so after the inspection took place.
The budgeted costs for the projects did not change and no extras and/or other variations were recorded which meant the client was ecstatic with the outcome.
Our client, Lior at Just Steak It, is extremely happy and satisfied with the fit-out works, quality of workmanship of the Shop fitout works and have requested we undertake his next venture in 2016 at Post Office Square. We look forward to working closely with him again on this new exciting project in Brisbane’s CBD.
